- Patriot Park
Patriot Park is the highlight of the Old Mill District. It has a beautiful paved walk along the river where you’re sure to see a whole lot of ducks and fish! It boasts a huge grassy field perfect for a picnic or a game of tag with your family. Don’t forget your soccer ball and picnic basket on your trip so you can have an extra special time at Patriot Park!
- The Island in Pigeon Forge
While The Island may have loads of attractions, restaurants, and shops, it’s also a perfect place to spend the day with family without spending money. Catch the fountain show every little while when the lights and water sync with music! Walk around for endless photo ops and some fresh air. Even better: parking is free, too!
- Take a Hike
If you’re visiting the Smokies, your trip simply won’t be complete without gazing at the mountains from a hiking-point-of-view. Connect with nature and see first-hand what The Great Smoky Mountains are known for: beauty! Check out this blog to help you find which hike is right for you!
- Scenic Drives
Hiking isn’t for everyone, but that doesn’t mean your out of luck when it comes to getting a great view. Take a scenic drive on one of these roads! You’ll be stunned by the scenery. Most of these roads have pull-offs so you can pull over and take it all in. Bring your cameras!
- Bush’s Beans Visitor Center
Located in Dandridge, Tennessee, Bush’s Beans Visitor Center is a totally free visitor center that’s historically FUN to be at! You’ll learn the history of the Bush’s Brothers and get to see pieces of history in the museum! Be sure to get some good southern cookin’ at the Bush’s Family Café and grab a souvenir from the gift shop to remember your visit.
- Catch Live Music
Ole Smoky Moonshine at The Island loves having local artists play outside on the stage. This mostly occurs on weekends. We hope you’ll be at the right place at the right time to see Appalachian artists play their hearts out! No admission necessary.
